MSFS: Plugin, Freeware - Cockpit Tooltip Remover

Means nothing to me, but I vaguely remember seeing people complaining about it, so here's a possible solution. Let us know how it goes!

Yup, I would go so far as to say this is a stupid feature. Too many times I have tried to change the heading bug on the compass for example and been unable to see where the heading bug is because of the word not allowed tooltip being overlaid exactly where I am trying to look.

A seriously thoughtless feature, poorly implemented. Please Asobo, give us a checkbox to be rid of the useless feature once and for all!

Yep, like when a tooltip blocks the altimeter read-out on the G1000 while you're turning the barometer knob. How did that pass alpha and beta?

I just saw this on another site.  Wouldn't turning it off or "hide tooltips" get rid of it?

Unfortunately, that option is not working at the moment. The solutions posted here are a temporarily fix until Asobo decides to fix the bug.

Check out https://github.com/mixMugz/msfs2020-uimod

It provides a similar functionality, but allows you to toggle the tooltips on and off by pressing the alt key. Also comes in a pack of other UI mods, but you can pick and choose which ones to install.
