Just for giggles I put my old 50" flat screen TV on my desk (Native 1080p) and yes, the individual pixels are quite visible. But I'm not sure I am going to go back. It's just so immersive even with the pixelization and obvious aliasing that I never noticed on my 24" monitor. But now I can roll the cockpit zoom back and see everything much better without needing to always mouse zoom around to make legible. The 50" TV is a bit ludicrous right now. But it's free. But now I have to wonder just how much I'm willing to spend on a new monitor right now that I really wasn't planning on spending, or if I just enjoy this ludicrous huge cockpit display, pixelization and all.
