October 23, 20205 yr How to get real taxiways instructions using the new makerunways for fs2020 ? Is there a way to generate real taxiways scenery to fs2020 using makerunways 5.00 beta for fs2020 ?
October 23, 20205 yr Commercial Member MakeRunways extracts the taxiway info from the SIM. If the scenery is not correct, then the taxiway data will not be correct. Dave

Do make sure you are using the latest version of MakeRwys 5.00BETA. The taxiway data was corrected in BETA3 (important changes). We're now up to BETA4 (just minor changes). Pete But FS2020 scenery data is not real for non handcrafted airports.Yes I used beta 3 and still it generates the FS2020 scenery and not the real life correct one.
October 24, 20205 yr Commercial Member If there is a problem with MSFS's scenery or you want to change their scenery, then please work with Microsoft to address their scenery problem. MakeRunways can only read whatever scenery is in MSFS and make it available to Pilot2ATC. Dave

As Dave points out, it can only read what is implemented. In fact that's the main point of the program -- telling applications how it is implemented, not how it should be implemented! Pilot2ATC wants to be able to direct you on the taxiways you actual have in MSFS. If it used non-matching real world data, perhaps from Internet sources or Navigraph charts, then you wouldn't be able to follow those instructions in MSFS!
