October 24, 20205 yr I set myself up to fly today from a departure point on the US east coast, and an arrival of Atlanta, flying VOR to VOR. So it generated a simple little flight plan. I loaded it up and...the plan included the waypoint NBC, somewhere of off Africa! I set the plane to fly, assuming it would ignore that. Sure enough, that's what happened. Instead, it flew over KNBC and then caught the rest of the plan and went from there. Very odd.

The game knows that a VOR should have three characters. Now as yo how it knew you didnt want to go to Africa, that, i have no idea 😄
October 24, 20205 yr NBC is a TACAN for the air station at Beaufort SC according to my google search. the air station is KNBC so that checks out. I thought TACAN was only for military flying, but maybe someone else can correct me. did the flight planner show a line all the way to Africa? and did you know you can delete waypoints from your plan if it did? maybe I'm not understanding exactly what happened

And you can lock onto them with GPS and FMS. Not with an analogue Nav radio tho. (except maybe the new italian fighter jet that came out a few days ago)
