Thrustmaster Airbus Throttle Quadrant

Featured Replies

Does anyone know what is happening with this, I have had one on advance order, but, the release date keeps changing.

I would also like the additional flap and autobrake modules, but, I don't want to commit any more cash

Amazon order?

Cheers, Ed

😁🤬

@Tezbedz See my long chat with Amazon about the Airbus Officer Pack in my Amazon rant thread.

The situation is ridiculous. Amazon UK are a shambles at the moment, and Aerosoft as European distributor for both Thrustmaster and Honeycombs aren't exactly covering themselves in glory. I assume from one of your previous posts that you're UK based, so you'll be in the same sort of situation as me.

As for the additional modules, nothing announced regarding when they'll be released. I'm assuming the ones in their promos are pre-production examples, perhaps non-functional mock-ups.

No mine was ordered from SimFlyers, they last told me it was being release 22 October, but, have now heard it delayed again. Just wondered if anyone knew the reason

I bought the pre-order package with both joystick and throttle along with clamps less than 2 weeks ago with Aerosoft.

Monday I received the clamps and Wednesday I received a message that the joystick and throttle would arrive Friday which it did.

Are you in UK? Is it any good?

  • 2 weeks later...

Aerosoft on their forum are saying that the Quandrant will only operate as a simple controller with their Airbus for FSX. To use the other functions such as thrust reverse is going to take mapping with Fsuipc. You would hope that Thrustmaster will produce a guide on how to make it work before they lose a lot of potential orders.

Alternatively is there anybody in the community want to take this on?
