October 25, 20205 yr The replay function was within the top 4 or 5 on the community Wishlist some weeks ago...I have checked the most recent Wishlist and I noticed that now its not even on the list anymore!...does anybody have any information about this?...will Microsoft still incorporate this?...my guess is that they have abandoned the project since its not even on the Wishlist anymore.

If you tune into the dev vlogs, they discussed about the replay system, its not 'not' in the sim, its simply not user friendly and feasible for single machine use in its current state. They are looking into it, but with optimization, closed vr beta, america world pack and xbox release on the horizon... it simply makes little sense to get it out half baked and increase their workload while they have a plate full of tasks ahead in the short to mid term range.
October 25, 20205 yr Indeed it is in the plans. I really miss it though. Sometimes I fly somewhere really majestic but its hard to look around when landing as I need to concentrate. Therefore I enjoyed switching to wing view after landing and enjoying the scene in replay.

No commitment to when it will be done. Tbh I think that is wise. Look at the uproar the "press any key" fix caused when it was not in update 4 as expected.
