Joystick Trim Up Turns off Generator ,,geeeesh

Featured Replies

Yah so in the TBM maybe now and again but almost every flight , When I press the button on my throttle that is trim up is turns Generator to off in the TBM.  Ive checked the bindings  nothing else is assigned to that joystick button and I have deleted all battery and generator keyboard assignments...and it still happens... Thrustmaster Hotas X is what I am using,, maybe it just doesnt play well with msfs.. anyone else having similar issues?

Did you select show all assignments?

well all the assigned ones,, what would be the point for looking at unassigned commands?

This may or may not help... Go to Options, Controls. Select your device. On the left, set the filter to All. Just above that, click once in "Search by Input". Press the button on your device. See what shows up. Make adjustments as required.

I think I solved the issue  engine start was bound to the same button,,, too many word not allowed buttons sometimes.. I am test flying but i suppose that should solve it   thanks for the advice guys.

Keep in mind that the same key stroke combinition can have more than one key-binding. Asobo provides this because otherwise there would not be enough unique key-combos to handle all of the potential assignments. These are unique per mode.

For example, the ubiquitous "hat switch" can have completely different assignments between the VC view and the external view...

To see if you have any dual assignments.
