November 1, 20205 yr I bought this beautiful bird yesterday. I've printed off the manual and am struggling to complete a C&D start up. I can cheat and flick a start switch on the overhead and she fires up just like using Ctrl-E. I have the default flight set as the Cessna C&D (fuel cock still on as that has causes non-starts in some other aircraft if switched off...) However, I am trying to do it "properly" within the constraints of the sim and the "not FS Labs" product. I've tried to follow the procedure in the manual, on page 39 but to no avail. I have the ground cart connected and it motors the engine up to over 20% N1, but I cannot get it to light off. I think I'm either missing something in how the manual labels certain switches against what is on the Engineers panel, or there's something missing in the procedure as listed.. Is there anyone else who has this bird able to take me through the procedure please? I normally have no problems getting jet airliners to fire up, but it appears I'm being rather dumb about Concorde.. November 1, 20205 yr Author @spokes2112 YES! For some reason I thought I'd left the Cessna with full mixture.. I hadn't and CTRL+SHIFT+F4 did the trick. D'OH !! Thank you! 🍻 Now i just have to get to grips with flying her and the autopilot/autothrottle..
