Theses camera views are driving me nuts. I'm in the controls page, under Camera there are a number of sub categories. The ones i'm interested are cockpit camera,external camera, instrument views. Is there a way to assign a joystick button to each of these categories, without going up to the menu bar with in the game?. For instance, i want to push a button, on my controller, to swithch from cockpit to instrument to external. I know you can assign buttons within each of those categories but not the categories themselves. 

Look under "Camera Mode Switches". You have two choices there. "Cockpit/External view mode" switches between the cockpit and the external view. "Toggle Drone" switches between whatever the current view is and the drone camera.

There is no toggle for instrument views as a whole. Instead, each instrument view can be toggled under "Instrument Views".

Don't forget to change the filter to "All" when looking for these items if they are not currently assigned to anything.

As far as I know, you can't have one button that switches between each type of camera.

At some point hopefully FSUIPC will have full ability to map keystrokes to buttons for MSFS.  Last time I tried using it you could not use MSFS's Alt-1/2/3/4/etc user-assigned views to map to my yoke's buttons so I decided to check back in a month or two to see if it's been improved.  Apparently the problems lie in Simconnect functionality or something along those lines
