November 12, 20205 yr Interesting watch! I was taught the chop out method. My CFI stressed it early and often : you are not a passenger on this vessel, you are the commander. you decide where the plane should go. (this is the same CFI who had me practice x-wind landings at max demonstrated component on a narrow tarmac strip 🤔...) Oh, and also : Use moar rudder Seriously, the easiest way to counteract unwanted drift and gusts in a small SEP imho.
