Suggestion: Jump to flight phase

Featured Replies

Just a suggestion, could it be possible to create a functionality that allows to jump to a specific flight phase?

Reason is the case when I have a CTD, I just reload my fsuipc autosave scenario and continue. OR I want to practice some landings and load a scenrario where I‘m on final.

I those cases, currently I always have to click through all items along the procedures to get to the ones I need for landing. It would be comfortable to just skip to „approach phase“ etc..

cheers

Hi Stu,

I know what you're saying.  I'll see what we can do in a future update.

But if using Voice control, you can press the little arrow buttons.  There's not that many to press to manually advance to Approach phase.

Cheers,

Alright, thanks for considering.

It works the same, just skip to the phase of flight you reload into.

Okay, I think we misunderstood eachother.

I know that I can advance to the phase I need via the arrow buttons. That‘s what I described in my initial post.

But from startup to landing phase, there are about 20-30 steps (didnt cout them) I have to skip. It is doable, no question. It just would be more comfortable to structure them somehow into preflight, before t/o, approach and landing for instance in order to just advance with a „big arrow“ or something 🙂

BTW, I just counted. There are 62 clicks until you reach the landing phase "Flaps1". 🙂
So that would be 62 clicks every time you load (this) practice scenario.... 4-5 clicks to skip entire phases would be very nice.

That's button control... Voice control has much fewer clicks.

However, there's a little trick you can use.

If you "right click" the far left screw in button control mode, you can skip to: "takeoff".

That'll cut your 60 clicks down by quite a bit.

Thanks Sir, I will try that.
