November 14, 20205 yr Court Line operated a couple of pastel L1011s from EGGW Luton during its brief existence in the 70s. Lockheed produced this promo for them featuring the L1011's design, construction and testing. When Court Line went belly up, one L1011 was stranded with passengers in Canada. Captain Peter Hogg, without authorization and possibly without insurance, flew them back to England anyway. The same Captain Hogg murdered his air hostess wife in 1976. He was tried at the famous Old Bailey and acquitted on the grounds of provocation: she was unfaithful. Hmmm... I don't think I could make that one fly.
