GPS/NAV always North

Featured Replies

I'm new to RXP GTN750, but have some experience with the F1 GTN 750. Here my problem:

Sitting in my a2a C172 @  KFHR I enter a flight plan KFHR-PAE-KBFI-KTIW. After T/O from RW 16 I'm flying dir 130°, @ 1000ft AGL I activate the AP. As soon as I activate the NAV mode in the AP the a/c turns left and is steering North @ exactly 360 °. OCI is set to GPS, and the green GPS light of the a/c indicates that it is activated correctly. What is going wrong? Even when I delete the flight plan, and I choose any way point in the are, and activate it with the Direct-to key ... the same problem comes again and the a/c turns to North no matter what direction it was going before.

I have to add, that I could fly the above mentioned flight plan without any problem with P3D 5.1.  The problem has only appeared after the HF1 update yesterday.

You need to update to the latest version of the RXP. A new one came today after HF1 was released. Run the update tool in your RXP installation.

An update is always needed when Lockheed Martin issue a P3D update.
