November 17, 200619 yr Hi all!Yesterday I uploaded the fourth and final part of my standard resolution Los Angeles sceneries. All my standard resolution sceneries work equally well in FS2004 and FSX. The package covers the area east of my Southern Los Angeles Scenery, containing the airports Los Alamitos (SLI), John Wayne (SNA) and Fullerton (FUL) as well as the scenic coast along Huntington-, Newport- and Laguna Beach and the beautiful Santa Ana Mountains. Together with the other three volumes you get full coverage of the LA-basin! The scenery resolution is 4.7m/pixel.Please visit us at http://www.blueskyscenery.comEntering the scenery at Laguna Beach:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/161359.jpgOverhead Mission Viejo, approaching Santiago Peak:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/161360.jpgSantiago Peak:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/161361.jpg --------------------------- Blue Skies, Gottfried www.blueskyscenery.com

Always working on mutliple projects...One of the projects is in your list btw ;-) And thanks!>I forgot to ask, what exactly can I use in FSX?Currently all standard-resolution (4.7m/pix) sceneries. They work both in FS2004 and FSX.>Have you tried running your data through FSX resample at>all? Not for the standard resolution sceneries. I'm using the FS2004 resampler for them, so that the sceneries work with FS2004 and FSX. But I'll use the new resampler for the high-resolution overlays. Currently I'm trying to find a good compression-factor that optimizes the quality/size ratio. In the future there will be two versions for the high-res stuff - one for FS2004 based on SCASM and my own programs and one for FSX based on the new resampler.Cheers --------------------------- Blue Skies, Gottfried www.blueskyscenery.com
