Well not quite endless but as usual Ground took me to the furthest spot available, this time down 14 taxiways at the massive LFPG. But the good part was seeing most of LFPG which is detailed and beautifully done by Asobo.

You can set which parking spot you want to ATC to send you to from the flight planning screen. Instead of clicking on the airport and hitting 'Arrival' zoom in and click on the parking spot instead.

Downside is that you can't change what runway to land at, you'll be stuck with whatever one the sim suggested.

Only solution is do what you want/need and then cancel IFR.  Reinstate later.  I find the ATC is just awful and must do this more often than not.
