November 27, 20205 yr After weeks of pouncing on notifications from nowinstock.net without any success, I finally got lucky and managed to nab an RTX 3090 at list price from Best Buy. It's a massive upgrade from my old 980Ti and I've been enjoying being able to run the sim with literally every setting maxed out for a change -- and still get good framerates doing it. I took an early morning flight around the Netherlands today, and I don't think I've ever seen anything so lovely from a flight sim before.

I should have a nice 32" 4k monitor coming around Christmas time, though, from Mrs Santa. 😄 2 minutes ago, ryanbatcund said: Lucky score on that 3090! Yep, I could hardly believe it when I was actually able to check out with it.
