SDK usage?

Featured Replies

Is the SDK used just by programmers or is this something that all simmers can take advantage of in some way?Is this where helpful information exists on changing or adding to the FSX.cfg file?

Hi,It varies. The Traffic Toolbox SDK has tools that can be used by everyone to look at the AI traffic. The Panels SDK is mostly for XML and C programmers. Etc.I don't remember seeing any information on the fsx.cfg file in the SDK's.Hope this helps,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___

Well I can use it, and I'm just a cave-man. I am using the TrafficToolBox SDK for FSX. With FS9 I used the MakeMDL some, to make 3D scenery objects. I may get into doing that with FSX but not right now.The trick is reading the documentation, and coming here if you have any problems or tough questions.RhettAMD 3700+ (@2530 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2 GB Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8, WD 250 gig 7200 rpm SATA2, CoolerMaster Praetorian

Thanks for the reply(s).I will only then have a look at the TrafficToolBox.A lot of post gave ways (tips & tricks) to change statements in the .CFG files and thought the information may have come from the SDK.I have always wondered where this type of information comes from. You guys have a good day!Best Regards,
