MCS loading Sound Device panel on startup

Featured Replies

Hello, finally broke down and changed from Win 7 to Win 10 on my desktop computer. Installed FSX-SE edition and have spent a few days trying to get everything back the way it was 🙂 Last thing I installed was MCE. Now, it is working, but when FSX-SE starts up and then mce, the sound devices panel also starts up and seems to hang the loading until i dismiss it with OK or Cancel. Any ideas why? My headset with microphone and my desktop speakers are correctly selected and work properly.

Hi Dave.

You may want to read this to understand the Windows 10 bug for which this workaround was provided.

OK, I tried the fix but no go. I have to manually click OK each time I start FSX.

Not to hi-jack this thread, but can this be disabled?
