New Deadzone options

Featured Replies

Just a simple question. I wonder how the new "Reactivity” and “Extremity dead zone” parameters should be implemented or what effect they will have.

Thanks,
Hans

The settings window shows you a graphical representation of what input (x-axis) produces what output (y-xis) so you can visually see what they are doing.

I'd expect that the Extremity Deadzone maps the 0% and 100% outputs to say the 5% and 95% points on the controller.  This will be very helpful for me since my poor old throttle tends to only go to 96%.

The new Extremity Deadzone was very helpful, especial on my trim axis, smooth as butter now, I have -30 on sensivity and 50 on the new extremity deadzone at all axis on my TM Warthog Hotas, it feels like a great starting point.

Thanks. I also have a TM Warthog Hotas and will try your settings later today. Did you also modify the "regular" deadzone settings?

I can see visually what the extremity deadzone setting does.......not a clue about reactivity though??

I have normal deadzones at 0, and I use the gray lever axis on the throttle for trimming.
