December 26, 20205 yr I respect other peoples preferences but to say AO is essential is certainly not true for me. Have huge amounts of Scenery and continue to use SceneryConfig Editor because all my mesh, Orbx scenery, etc is in the P3D root folder. Large number of scenery never came with add-on.xml so adding them to the scenery.cfg takes a couple of minutes. In the Prepar3D v5 Add-ons folder, there are always folders with .xmls such as Active Sky P3Dv5, AI lights reborn, FLAi, FSDreamteam Addon Manager and exclude, FSUIPC, Global_AI_Ship_Traffic_V2, Immersion Packages, and SODE. If an airport scenery comes with xml I simply drop it in the folder, when the flight finishes I drop it back to where it was before. This method has always worked for me without issues, using a simpler and clearer interface in my opinion and it still works in P3dv5.1HF1. Did try Lorby's but to be honest didn't like it and found it too complicated.
