December 25, 20205 yr Is it possible to move the P3D addons folder using Lorby? It takes up way too much space on my C drive.

No, you do that manually and then you need to change the paths accordingly.. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
December 25, 20205 yr Ok so I assume the main issue is folders existing within P3D root folder? Especially scenery which is installed into the effect / scenery root folders. Those need to be taken out and then I assume you use this tool to point to the new external folder. That's a bummer for scenery already installed the old way, I guess no way around that? December 26, 20205 yr Here is my Lorbys AI you move any scenery in sim to keep your addons above the base scenery and your other addon airport above ORBX scenery, but most important you can create a backup when you have added scenery and it`s working ok, and if you install something that causes a problem you can go back to the last good working install with just a mouse click. https://www.flickr.com/photos/154944674@N05/50512391118/in/dateposted-public/ PS I no longer use ORBX vector more trouble than it`s than it`s worth not had a scenery problem since. If they "keep to themselves", then it doesn't matter where you install the addons. The "issue" is legacy addons overwriting default simulator files, especially those that other addons might depend upon. That was common in the old days, but it is no longer necessary with the add-on.xmls. Best regards and Merry Christmas LORBY-SI

You could create a new Discovery Path and manually move your addons to that location. Personally I prefer the method where you move the addons folder and then create a symlink in its place. That will keep installers/uninstallers intact. Best regards LORBY-SI

No, the app will create the package for you, if you are adding legacy scenery: P4AO: How to add legacy scenery - Lorby-SI Freeware - The AVSIM Community LORBY-SI

I find it quite non-intuitive and really have seen no need to use it at all. As they say in the classics, "others may have a different experience". I agree with your comments completely and never use it. December 26, 20205 yr If you have lots of addons AO is a musthave. Like FSUIPC and FsRebornPro.
