A320Neo Throttle/Taxi Issue

Featured Replies

This may be user error or I need to tweak the "new" joystick settings slightly. (First time on the game in a month).

Started a flight in the stock A320 but after pushback, on moving the throttle forward to taxi the AT engaged full takeoff speed and I was unable to recover - slamming the throttle on my joystick shut had no effect.

Going to play with the settings a bit but open to advice if anyone else has encountered this.

I had the problem of full throttle on taxi, this was solved by switching pilot assists back  to "hard" on the take off mode (sorry for not being 100% on terminology", apparently making pilot assists "easy" is not reccomended for the airbus, so I go "hard/real life" which works fine

I would download the A32O fbw mod including the automatic updating program checker, because the updates come often.

Even with the full throttle problem solved, taxiing is still very awkward and nothing like it was in P3D.

Can you elaborate on what feels off about taxiing? Would love to have some feedback so we can improve it.

Please do not contact me via DM for support or help with the A32NX mod. We recommend using our help channel on our Discord.

I have 2 buttons on logitech attack 3  assigned to rudder left and right and find turning awkward and jerky, and not responsive enough.

The problem I have is  on all things concerned with MSFS/airbus mod is wether its my incompetence or bugs that are the cause of problems, with Navigraph charts and your Mod I find Vatsim flying possible so im more than grateful for what you are doing for simmers.

I don't feel qualified enough to give a developer feedback as its more than likely me thats doing something wrong, any advice on taxiing welcome.

Well happy to report after playing around with the throttle settings in Sensitivities I was able to taxi okay.

Following some of the recommended settings on here does seem to have improved other handling aspects particularly the take off roll, just a shame Asobo didn't fully document the effects each setting changes.

I have dabbled with the FBW A320 but started to get tiresome back in Oct/Nov when we were getting a succession of Asobo updates, having to re-acquire it each time. Hasten to add no fault of the brilliant FBW team on that (as I've mentioned before they are in the same boat as the ProMods guys in ETS2).

Not really any problems with taxiing actually other than the ground friction seems really varied.  Perhaps this is a per airport thing.  With approximately the same GW, Im either having to use close to 35% N1 and in other cases, just idle, speeds up so much that Im constantly hitting the brakes which is rather abrupt if you dont have differential braking toe pedals. Its my understanding the Neo usually taxi's with engine idle or even with just a one engine taxi.

On another note, will there be some implementation of a tiller in the near future?
