December 26, 20205 yr Today i have landed at LEAL (Alicante) using ILS rw10 , the ATC give me permission to land when i call him to say i was in bound for final . But at the same time was landing an airplane at Rw28 and we have landed at same time meeting infront of us in the middle of runway. Why the ATC didn't tell me to hold position while the other airplane was landing at Rw28? i am using real traffic option , and the IA plane was recognized by Pilot2ATC (red plane at the map) Thanks a lot Edited December 26, 20205 yr by motishow
December 27, 20205 yr Commercial Member Depending on what SIM you are using and the Config Settings, P2A may not choose the same landing runway as the SIM and occasionally this can happen. Checking the option to Match SIM Runway will increase your chances of P2A selecting the same runway as the SIM.
December 27, 20205 yr Author Dave , i mean , is normal that ATC give me permission to land if other plane is landing in this moment? i thought if another plane is landing the ATC will tell me to hold around until the landing runway is free thanks
December 27, 20205 yr Commercial Member If the other airplane is landing on the same runway or is already on the runway, you will be told to go around. The problem is, the other aircraft was on final to the opposite runway, which is not normal. I have added the opposite runway check to the list for future enhancement. Dave
