Is the GNS530 mod worthwhile?

Thank you guys. I hadn't realised it was the aircraft and not the mod. In many ways this is good news because I can plug the mod into my 172 instead and use this :)

Thank you very much.

After using this mod for over 30 hours in Carenado's PA44 I have to say I'll never use the default GNS 530/430 again. Never ever.

Hello all,

I am looking to go onto Vatsim soon and I'd like to improve upon the default navigational system with the Carenado PA44. I've heard a lot about the WT mods, and the A32X by FBW, but less so about this mod:

Is this a worthwhile installation, does anybody have experience with it? If so, will it improve my experience on Vatsim?

Thank you,

Luke

Luke, just take a look at how many post are in that thread you linked. This is the most actively developed mod for MSFS with sometimes more than one update to it in the same day. The author is constantly on top of it adding more and more features and not just bug fixes to try to make it every bit as good as the real thing. It is a MUST HAVE mod if you fly any plane that uses the 530 or 430.
