December 28, 20205 yr Hi, Having problems getting a 'Group' flight to work. My grandson lives in Bermuda and I am in the UK. I create a group and send him a request to join which he does and I can now see that we are both in the same group We both select the same server and attempt to meet near the same runway. Our coordinates show that we are near to each other but neither of us can see each other. Anyone have any ideas please? Barry Wells
December 28, 20205 yr Group flight can be hit or miss. On the same server...good. On the world map just before you get into the sim...do you see his green icon? Make sure you both have the same settings not only for the "Group only"...but for all settings...not that you should have to (it should work with dissimilar settings, just different features available) ....but its best to start there and see if it works. Also...some 3rd party planes for some reason will not show up at all in multiplayer...the new FW P.149 is one currently I know of. For testing...both should have the same plane, and one of the default ones to rule out things like that. Have you tried to group up with anyone else...successfully? If not, try to and see if you/he can. If you only know each other, send me and IM and I'll try to setup a quick flight with you to test. December 29, 20205 yr Author Thanks for the comments Steve. Will give it another try making sure we stick to what you recommend. Yes we did see our green icons where we expected them. If we have no success I will IM you to arrange a quick test, thank you. Barry Wells
December 29, 20205 yr You don't even need to create a group. Just get on the same server and go to the same airport and fly. Good thing is you'll have other traffic flying around too
