Hi everybody,Is it just me or is the far distance in FSX very blurry by itself compared to the sharp distance I have in Fs9 ?I have tried changing the lod value form 4.5 to 9.5 but no difference.Also I have tried setting the AF in my videocard form 8 to 16 but no difference again.Do you have this too and if so do you have a solution ? http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/162294.jpg

Try different filtering and anisotropic settings.

Something is wrong seems like yours is even blurry up close lod only goes to 4.5 anything higher may cause it to default to a lower setting.It maybe a video ram problem how much ram does your video card have. If a lot bump up your buffer pools also make sure your FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION= is at least 25 or higher it seems tou may get a couple more FPS with it lower but you can also get blurries bad.

My system :Intel D805 2.66 @ 3.8 Asus P5WD2E-Premium2 Gb Geil DDR8002x Raptor in Raid 0At detailed airports I get 15-20 fps and in the air 20-60.Autogen + Scenery Complexity -> Very dense

Something is wrong there. Yours is too blurry even close to you.You posted your specs but not your vid card. I assume you have at least 256 megs vram and a decently fast card.You might want to lock your frames at 25. And then set fiber_frame to the 0.33 value. Or as low as 0.20 if you can do it without blurries.The lack of framelock is probably hurting you. Just solved the issue.I had AF as Application Controlled in my graphics card.AA is still that.Tomorrow I will see if setting AA in the grahics card is better than using it from within FSX.
