One of the things I love about flying...

One of the things I really always love about flying GA aircraft are the incredible views.

FS2020 is no exception. The snow effect etc is fantastic, I especially love night scenes over Norway.

I never did get to fly photo missions with an A320, now I can...

How does that Seminole fly? I'm thinking of buying it in the Holiday Sale. Is it as good as the Carenado for P3D? That flew very well indeed. In fact it was my favourite aircraft in P3D. My everyday runabout.

Great pics by the way.

I love the 44 in FS2020.

I have not flown it in P3D so I can't compare. I fly X-plane a lot and I find the Carenados in XP and FS2020 very similar in quality. Not the best but quite nice.

But it is a lot nicer than the default twins IMHO. I love steam gauges in GA aircraft.

It is a lot like the M20. But with the possibility of practicing single engine ops. The prop feathers and stops and that is really great.

I really like the C182T as well.

I flew only briefly in x-plane but flew the PA-44 over 1500 hours in P3D. A lovely aircraft with beautiful manners on Takeoff and Approach.

I shall purchase.

Now, has anyone got any gen to share on my Trans-Atlantic for the 747 tomorrow. Because I'm really rather nervous that it's going to go (tits) up at some point. . .

Flight Plan will be loaded via Simbrief and then we go. Gatwick to Boston.

Looks like a fun flight.

I crossed the pond in the C182T via Goose Bay, Greenland, Iceland, Scotland and Denmark. KIZG to ESSA, lots of stops.

Took 4 days, had to turn around a few times because of ice.

I usually do 1/2-2 hr flights in the A320NX for airliners, that way you stay busy.

I have not tried the Queen yet. Good luck, I will look for you at KBOS tomorrow. I fly KPWM or KIZG  to KACK a lot both in real GA airplanes and in the sim. We may meet up around EXALT or SCUPP...

Haven't had the nerve to do a SEP ferry in MSFS - did it a couple of times in an A2A Piper Cherokee in P3D - is there a Bluie West One yet?

Couldn't think of doing it without that Stopover at the foot of the glacier.

Yes, I'm a coward - I'm doing it in a 747!

Initially 😉

Glad you saw the ice and took the longer option.

See you up there. I'll be on VATSIM. Callsign GIANT2405. EGKK-KBOS. Departing 0900z

Have a listen in - I'm so rubbish on VATSIM - but I do try my hardest and I try to be professional.

It often goes a little wrong; like the VATSIM Controller will amend my flight plan - and that throws me - I have to admit - that throws me. . .there I am, ready to repeat back my clearance and squawk - and then the bugger gives me a different SID.

Pain, pain, pain - ain't that just aviation's name. . .

Anyway, we'll see in the morning. It'll be fun.

We've got 350 tons of metal to hurl across the pond. And what are we - if we can't do that!

(That's a rhetorical question)

x
