Replace Default Liveries

Featured Replies

Great Forum Guys.

ONe quick question.  I have downloaded my favorite liveries for my aircraft.  Is there a way to keep them as default. Everytime I start the game or change airplanes, it comes back at the default Microsoft livery.  A bit anoying

Funny that the 787 now stay with my Air Canada Livery but not the others

Manny, where is that MSFS United livery at? I don't see it as any of the traffic liveries.

A couple of possible work arounds would be:

  • save a flight with the livery chosen
  • edit your livery file and rename the relevant bit [FLTSIM.0] to overwrite the default - might work no idea never tried it
  • for default aircraft (not deluxe or premium) create a "mod" of the aircraft by copying the game files into the community folder and change the default livery
