I use a Rift S, so OpenXR is preinstalled (I read somewhere). I installed OpenXR dev toolkit for XR where I have the option to enable/disable Reprojection. But: in the start menu of this toolkit I read WMR runtime is installed but it is not the active OpenXR-runtime.

Of course I use the regedit to change the setting but then in FS it says No headset detected.

Am I doing wrong something?

I had exactly the same problem - changing it to the “active” runtime disabled my headset - so I then had to use regedit to change the registry value back to what it was before. I eventually came to the conclusion that OpenXR was working anyway without me changing it to the active runtime - but I’m still not really sure. Hopefully more knowledgeable posters than me will be able to provide an answer.

If you use a Rift-S you only have to step into the Beta channel (for now), no extra's have to be installed like WMR, OpenXR (the runtime is already there) or SteamVR.

Thanks - that’s useful to know.

Ah that is clear. But is the Reprojection setting on or off  in the dev tool supposed to make a difference with a Rift S?

I don't think so, I haven't been able to affect the Quest 1 with it.
