December 31, 20205 yr Yesterday it was nice weather into Norfolk but today...not so much... yesterday: today: In the past several days I've seen really good shoreline waves and really good rain and windshield effects. This sim may not be perfect but its worth quite a lot. | Dave | I've been around for most of my life. There's always a sunset happening somewhere in the world that somebody is enjoying.
December 31, 20205 yr Very nice series...! Yes, weather, surely, has not co-operated on your landing, today,...but, agree, MSFS, indeed, does a fine job of expressing the moment...looks good...!
January 1, 20215 yr Brings back memories when I used to drive through that very tunnel to get to Virginia Beach. Good memories. Follow me on : Instagram See my Trailer: A Year Of Flight

I recently bought IRIS's Jabiru and had flown it in nice weather to 1A0 Dallas just north of Chattanooga TN and then when I went to continue on from there it was rainy and I was used to FSX and P3D where you could take off in IFR conditions in a VFR only plane and make it out just fine. You can't do that in this new sim. I was watching vertical speed, airspeed and altitude so much that I didnt notice my compass had starting spinning wildly so I tried to correct and kept hoping Id break out to get a better view. At one point I think I was doing loops but I couldnt tell because out the window it all looked the same in every direction. I eventually just gave up. The new sim is quite cool indeed. 14 hours ago, Alcides Segovia said: Brings back memories when I used to drive through that very tunnel to get to Virginia Beach. Good memories. Yeah, I've been over that bridge myself. Its a beautiful area and I keep hoping someone will do a payware KPVG and KMTN for me to fly back and forth between. | Dave | I've been around for most of my life.
