January 3, 20215 yr Really simple question...can someone talk me through how the default pushback works in P3d5? In the past I've pressed shift-P and it's just kept going... Do I have to push a combination to turn, and if so how do I judge when to do it? Also, do I have to toggle an end to the push or does it do it itself?! I'm fine when I have GSX, but this is for airports where that's not available. January 3, 20215 yr Shift+P, then 1 for the nose to turn left, change the 1 to a 2 for the nose to turn right. Yes, you need to toggle Shift+P to stop. January 3, 20215 yr You really need to learn how to use the parking spot customization feature in GSX! Pretty much any airport parking spot can have a custom pushback. Also, GSX now has a "quickedit" pushback feature that you can use at the time of pushback--it gives you a top-down view for setup and you can place the stopping endpoint and orientation as well as intermediate turn points if needed. GSX will remember that quickedit pushback if you find yourself on that same spot later, too.
