January 4, 20215 yr I am currently using the Carenado PA44 with the included GNS530 from Alabeo. I decided to try and get the Reality XP 430W V2 for FSX-SE which was on sale as the website said it was compatible with the Alabeo PA44. I believe installing was all done correctly as i also do have the GNS trainer. However after running FSX-SE and start flying. I managed to get into "Add-ons -> Reality XP GNS -> Setup Aircraft" and then it brings me to a black blank windowed full screen still under running FSX. I thought there was a problem and decided to close the program in all and try again but i couldnt. i was only able to kill it from task manager. Tried a couple of times but still facing the same error. Not sure if i had make a mistake during the downloading the installer or not.
February 9, 20215 yr Hi, I'm sorry for the delay. It is possible on your system the popup RXP GUI Settings Window is displaying beneath the FSX-SE window. Do you mean the FSX-SE window turns black? Are you running full screen?
February 20, 20215 yr I had it working a few weeks ago and now after the new update, I dont know if that is the cause, I get the same problem.
February 20, 20215 yr I was using Reality XP with FSX steam and finally got it working a couple of months ago. I went to use it yesterday and could not get the garmin 430 to launch. When I clicked on the add on to set up the reality xp it opened a black window and nothing happened. February 20, 20215 yr In addition, are you using any 3rd party tool like "ReShade" or similar? If this is the case, this is the reason why because these tools are not properly handling Windows child windows (this is the type of window we're creating for displaying the settings).

February 25, 20215 yr Great, so what about not using it full screen then? Press ALT+ENTER, then go to the add-ons menus to open the Panel Assistant, confirm it is working, once done with the assistant, press ALT+ENTER again to restore full screen mode.
February 25, 20215 yr That worked. I am not terribly savy about panel modification. How hard is it to actually put it in the panel?
