Annoying clicking sound in Goooooose

Featured Replies

Still got that annoying repeating click click click sound in the Goose while in any cockpit modeI can't find the file anywhere in the sound folder I have no idea what it is. The goose is unflyable until I figure out why the noise is there...I posted a month or so ago on this and someone else heard it in the Bell206 maybe???Anyone know what might be the problem???

Electric Fuel pump? Try to switch it off, you don't need it with engines running (normally) ...Eagle

G'day Ryan,Don't know if you have solved this yet however I also had this problem with the Goose once & it did turn out to be the fuel pump. What I had done was use the Baron previously with both pumps turned on then changed to the Goose before switching them off. And as there is only one fuel pump switch in the Goose it didn't turn them both off, so the sim still had one fuel pump running. To fix this I swapped back to the Baron & turned the second pump off & problem solved. Weird but it worked for me. I suggest you open the Goose then swap to the Baron & see if one of the pumps is still turned on or not. If not then I'm afraid I can't help.Cheers,Ross

Hmmm, odd!In order to get rid of the bad fuelpump loop sound all together I renamed the (fsx)SimObjectsAirplanesGrumman_Goose_G21ASoundfuel_pump.wav to fuel_pump.bak.No sound, no ugly loop I figuered. But instead I got a very nice sounding fuel-pump :-).Eagle

Double post, sorry!
