Ai Radio Communication

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I'm in the "trial" phase with P2ATC, and couldn't find the answer to "Does P2ATC communicate with AI aircraft, or is the ATC chatter the only option to liven up the frequencies"? If chatter is the only option, what's the best place to download it? I'm on the fence right now with 5 days to go. Thanks!!!

Hi Jim..... I'll chime in here, although I hope (and believe) Dave will also respond to clarify anything I may suggest.

P2A does not communicate with AI aircraft., making ATC chatter the only option.

Personally I use 'X-ATC Chatter'. It is not too expensive, is easy to integrate with P2A, and works very well.

X-ATC Chatter

Like I said, I'm sure Dave will be in here in not too long.

Stay safe!

Albert is correct.  X-ATC Chatter works with any SIM, not just X-Plane.  See the User's Guide in the Documentation folder for how to install it.  It's really just a matter of copying the files to the P2A directory and then configuring on the Sounds tab of Config.  You do not need the x-ATC Chatter stand-alone player.
