A quick question ...... I am having a small "interference" with sending an unsolicited Voxatc copilot call when using the ECL with the freighter at before taxi.

Looking at the check.txt's, I see the difference in the challenges (before start / doors) but nothing else apart from the fact you include an update in the patch for the pax's but not the freighter's.

Quirky it seems, surely not a date thing or is there a reference in the dll not linking ??

Your thoughts please ...... it is not an airport scenery thing & pax's have no similar.

Copied the patch's pax's check.txt to the freighter's (deleting the challenge "before start / doors") & bingo, all seems well.

I'll report after a few more flights.

If you mean the Freighter version has a slightly different version of the ECL software, with "Doors" check, here is how to proceed.

Make a copy of the checklist file "PMDG_777_Check.txt" and name it "PMDG_777F_Check.txt", Modify them as you see fit using Notepad only as the editor,then put both files in \Multi Crew Experience\Checklists folder.

By default., MCE loads "PMDG_777_Check.txt" when it detects PMDG T7

With Freighter loaded, you could tell MCE to use the other checklist.

Go to <Checklist> tab and click <Change> button. Browse to the file location and select it as the peferred checklist for that specific variant. MCE will prompt wheher you want it to be default for that variant. Click yes and from then on you can assume it's using that one unless you reset MCE to factory settings.

This is the process for anyone who wants to use own real world airline checklist and for ANY plane.

Best not to edit existing checklists in C:\Program Files (x86)\Multi Crew Experience\ folder as these get removed after an update. Put custom cjheckloists in \My Documents\ folder instead.

You're right. Exceptions are T7 and QW 787 where MCE checklist must follow ECL software as displayed.

If the frighter has one more or one less line, it just needs touse the ad-hoc one to match display.

For now, let me tell you my latest use of the feature ...... if one sets the ECL on either inboard DU, then requests a checklist, one sees it all on the VC of that inboard DU (with "highlight box only " selection showing, no "red sim cursor") just as described in the FCOM.

& to add, I have written a voicescript "Karen ready for" / "Karen roger" (via voxkey) to set / revert that use of the inboard DU before / after requesting the checklist.

& of course, I hide the pop-up at 10% size & 50% blend in the top left corner.

I keep saying these last 9y's, "I can't leave the gate without fsuipc, mce & TIR."
