Thanks @Aviator Ape for your kind feedback! I'm planning on releasing a new version next week that will bring improvements to the UI (esp. autopilot controls) and add compatibility to the Corsair by MilViz Sim. I'll post the update here once it's released.

I’m excited to announce the release of version 1.8 of MSFS Mobile Companion App. This release adds dedicated support for the FG-1D Corsair by MilViz and improves the UI, especially for the default AP controls as well as the PA-28R (JustFlight).

List of new features:

  • Added controls profile for the FG-1D Corsair by MilViz.
  • Improved UI especially for the default AP and the PA-28R.

Where can I get it? You can download the MSFS Mobile Companion App for free on GitHub or flightsim.to. It’s free. No ads, no in-app purchases, nothing.

Important notice for existing users: Don’t forget to copy and replace the mobiflight-event-module folder into the Community folder.

Important notice for new users: Don’t install the app on your mobile device! Download and run it on your PC. This creates a local web server to which you connect via an IP address. You can connect to the app from your Android, iOS, Windows or Linux devices. To find out more about this app, visit the GitHub project page.

Enjoy the app and let me know your feedback!

Good question.  Was thinking about getting this App.  Wonder if it provides basic autopilot for the Spit and the Corsair?  Cheers.

Could you please give me details about your setup - what device are you using etc? I'm not having any issues with the app. I took the default Grand Caravan for a spin yesterday and the app worked as it should.

I'm not sure about that. You can try it and see if it works. It's free so you have nothing to lose. Notice: there is a controls profile specifically made for the Corsair, but it doesn't include AP buttons. You will have to use the Default controls profile to test the AP functionality with the two birds.
