January 10, 20215 yr Hi guys Whether this is just me but the clouds just recently look worse than ever. Very grainy, popcorn looking with lots of noise around the edges. I’m aware the clouds are on the bug list but seems to be much worse visually these last few days. I have the cloud slider on ultra - to be honest even dropping to medium I don’t see any difference in the visuals. Cheers Thomas Derbyshire
January 10, 20215 yr I notice the grain less now, but I have seen a few 'hairy' clouds this morning, with vertical lines coming off the top of the cloud. They go after a few seconds, but not good. Spoiling a few photos and videos! I have found 'high' clouds setting to be the best and most natural looking setting for me. Helps performance also if your GPU is on the edge of 30 FPS. Ultra always looks to 'lumpy'. Edited January 10, 20215 yr by bobcat999 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). January 10, 20215 yr interesting as I just dared to update to latest nvidia driver released some days ago, flying through thick clouds and quite a soup into LIRQ right now and actually found the clouds look better than ever, not grainy or pixelated at all.
