Featured Replies

A couple of B99's out on shakedown flights in Texas & Florida.

Has potential for improvement

I've been having a lot of fun with it myself. I don't think anyone really expects super realism with Virtualcol's stuff and they never claim that as their aim either, since 'low cost and friendly frame rates' is their slogan. At this point it's something of a minor miracle that anything at all is making it to the point of sale for MSFS add-on aeroplanes right now, but this isn't an excuse to be lazy with other stuff.

As such, the visuals could be better in the VC; there is nothing short of a bit of modeling and texturing effort stopping that from being part of a product. I would also like to see the cockpit gauges for the engine parameters be a bit more operationally reflective of the real thing too, so I would hope that Virtualcol up their game a bit with regard to the these aspects. Still as I say, none of this is stopping me from having fun with the thing as evidenced by the fact that I've now made, I think, 12 cargo flights with it in Air Hauler and it's accomplished all of these with no problems, and for the price, that's a pretty good result.

Alan,

It's good to see you're having fun with it. I would like to know a bit about the flight dynamics, especially in manual flight during landing.

Getting in some time on it & finding it enjoyable.

A VC 'refresh' would be welcome. I noticed the exterior liveries appear to vary in quality/crispness when you take a closer look at them.

AP  & de-icing work so its my current 'go to' for a twin in real time winter weather.
