January 10, 20215 yr Is the transition altitude for altimeter setting 18,000 feet like in the USA, set worldwide in the program? Or, is it specific to the area you are in? Like the U.K. for instance where it is 3000 feet.
January 11, 20215 yr Commercial Member The program gets the transition altitude from the airport data in AIRAC data. So it is globally aware.
