January 21, 20215 yr That's interesting - the idea of lowering the settings to get high fps for smoother recording and then putting them back up on replay wouldn't have occurred to me at all. I run 4k with ultra settings, plus LODs set at 5.000000, and although it's ok for me 'live' (I tend to get between 20 and my capped 30 fps) it can look a bit jittery on playback, so I will definitely be giving this a bash tomorrow. I'm sort of thinking about building up a set of "travelogue" videos on youtube if I can get acceptable results, and this replay function is a key part of that. And so far it's very encouraging. I was hesitant at first but I'm very glad I bought it now. Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used
