Does anyone know how to open .gau files in FSX???

Featured Replies

Hey all!Does anyone know a FREE piece of software that can open .gau files? FS Panel Studio I think can but I don't have 30 bucks to try it and I need to fix one default panel for the Wilco/Feelthere 777. Does anyone know one that can open it without PAYING for it or has a FULL, TIME-LIMITED trial one that can save and is FSX compatible? Thank you!

No one knows how to open .gau files??? Any modders here???

>No one knows how to open .gau files??? Any modders here???.gau files are compiled .dll files... they can NOT be "decompiled" for editing. The only thing FS Panel Studio will allow is for you to (sometimes) extract, edit and replace bitmap resources.

You would need the source to do any major mods to it.Since it's a .gau, that makes me think it's probably not an xml-coded gauge.I know with the new xml gauges, it's easier to mod the gauge. Or at least it is for me.RhettAMD 3700+ (@2530 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2 GB Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8, WD 250 gig 7200 rpm SATA2, CoolerMaster Praetorian
