assigning buttons of my joystick T16000

Featured Replies

hello

I have a new joystick Thrustmaster T16000 + throttle. I would like to assign buttons for autopilot engage/disengage and I am searching the corresponding  line of command in the XPlane 11 joystick settings.

I found for the B737 : laminar / B738 /autopilot / command A and AP disconnect.

but for all other planes I do not find the correct command line, I searched all the lines of AP commands in navigation & radios / autopilot ,but I do not find something like AP Engage and disconnect.

can somebody help ?

thanks

Greetings,

I have  the same Thrustmaster and it’s amazing. IMO it’s the best joystick out there. I have mine set up for autopilot engage.  The command is there it’s just worded different than you would expect.  I’ll check mine later and get back to you.

hi

in the meantime Isearched again and foud a solution:

 B737 : laminar / B738 /autopilot / command A and AP disconnect.

other Laminar aircrafts If they use the default sim command it's "toggle servos". (servos on/off on my french version)

so do not spend time unless you have another solution !

thanks for answer

"Toggle servos" is what you're looking for.

Unless the aircraft in quesion has custom autopilot code (e.g. Zibo's 737-800). In that case, you may need a custom solution.

Bjoerm,

Thanks  for posting the correct command.  I didn’t gat a chance to look it up last night.  I thought  that’s what the command was but wanted to make sure.
