Hi all,

Currently I am testing the Prosim 737 NG in MSFS.

Flying half an hour to do some sightseeing at low altitude is no problem.
Making longer flights always result in a crash.
This time after 45 minutes at cruising altitude over the North of France (coming from Amsterdam and going to Faro).

It looks like an issue with Simconnect - Prosim ... ?

I have a RTX 3090 and have it running at default speeds with only a more acxtive fan profile for maxed cooling.
Driver 461.09. Happened too with the driver before that one.
Swapfile = automatic ( perhaps on fixed values ? )

CPU 7940X @ 4.7 Ghz since 3 years / 32 Gb 3600 / 2 Tb M2 (MSFS + P3D) + 1 Tb M2 (P3D)
Displays 4K @ 30 hertz. One wide view spread over 2 displays (4096x2160).

Already lowered settings so 38-50 fps is no problem to sustain. Set FPS to 30 inside MSFS.
Also emptied Rolling Cache to be sure that there wasn't faulty data in it.

In P3Dv5 I can fly for more than 4h withoput issues (PR scnery + custom AG ) sop imho my hardware has no issues.

All advises are welcome.

It seems something from the Simconnect side, specifically 'SimConnect_CallDispatch', it looks to me a callback wasn't handled at that case, would it best to report it in Prosim fourms? This looks to me an issue from the Simconnect client.

Completed the same flight successfully now 😄

In Windows the Pagefile was set to Auto. I did set it to 5 Gb for Min and Max as that was what Windows advised for a fixed Pagefile.

Update :

The CTD’s are back (2out of 3 flights) but I now know what is causing this : Simconnect cannot handle all data for MSFS (yet).

There is a workaround to try to put less load on Simconnect.

See here :

I will sent a Zendesk ticket.

Interesting but would it make sense for Prosim to ignore the problematic Simconnect simvars that case the CTDs for now until they being added in MSFS?

I am no expert, but if Simconnect cannot handle all data it doesn’t matter what data.

I het CTD’s by just standing on the ground and the next time at cruising altitude.

And sometimes it is working from startup to shutdown.

Yeah currently MSFS Simconnect doesn't support all the data interaction, for example not all traffic data are enabled and the weather data are deprecated and will be replaced with something else but yet to be released. Did Prosim find out which Simconnect data point that is causing the CTDs?

All info I forwarded to the Prosim development team.
Hopefully they will find a temporary workaround.
