January 31, 20215 yr Anyone else having an issue whereby taking off and landing final. getting a tcas warning ? Traffic traffic! but there is no traffic. im getting fed up with P3d v5.1 hf1 mans been plagued with ctd device hung errors. scaling issues. all my addons are v5.1 compatible, which are I don’t have many of. Thanks mike Sorry to hear that. But I use the 787 a lot and don't have this issue. Only if traffic is near. Could it be removed traffic, via FSUIPC for instance, which still is detected but not visible? Just some thoughts. Marcus Regards, Marcus P.

But IF, you have to put in some values to make exactly that happens. If you did not do that, FSUIPC will not reduce Traffic anyway. But the payware version does have some functions for doing that. That's why I came up with it. You can define minimum FPS you want maintained and if FPS drops below that value, traffic can be reduced to a certain max of planes or %ige. But I don't think that is the root cause. Did You panned around in external view to spawn traffic or did you trust the ND and saw nothing on it? Difficult to say. Is the issue known over at QW support forum maybe? Regards, Marcus P.

I checked outside also, and no aircraft. I have also checked over at qw forums. No mention of it. I am wanting to post over there but they either never respond or take days to respond. cheers mike

February 1, 20215 yr Some other add-ons have previously had false TCAS warning issues triggered by SODE jetways, as they are modelled much the same as acft and were setting off the TCAS until some filtering or other logic was added. You might try at a non-SODE enhanced airport to see if that could be it (and make sure you're running the latest SODE). And all was well on take off and landing. I have the latest sode. so is there a fix to prevent it com happening at sode airports.? thanks mike

One thing you might consider trying is turning off the SODE interaction with AI aircraft--that's done by setting DetectionEnable to "False" in C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\SimObjectDisplayEngine.ini With that set to false, jetways won't dock to AI acft, which might prevent the panel from confusing moving jetways with AI acft. February 6, 20215 yr Author Any other views on this matter? can’t seem to have the TCAS not calll out traffic on landing and take off. And there is no traffic in sight. thanks mike Edited February 6, 20215 yr by mikeymike
