February 8, 20215 yr Dear Team, I am completely lost - hopefully someone can help me here. On Saturday I have bought the GTN-750 module for X-Plane at Reality XP and installed it via the application "rxpGTN-750-XPL.exe" and it worked to use it within my EC-135 from Rotorsim with the plugin installed. On Saturday I tried again and it did not work. So I tried starting the Trainer 1st and the x-plane - but the screen of the GTN in the heli was still blacked out. So I though that I may have to re-install. So I again started "rxpGTN-750-XPL.exe" hit the re-install button and went through the whole process and after hitting install the I ended up with a "404 - file not found error". Can you please make me aware if there is once again an update done by Garmin. That's what flight1.com support told me, and they send me the download URL for the latest trainer. But if I can just download it - what do I need Reality XP for? How do I put the license in - and what for. As I said, I am completely lost and hoping for someone way more qualified than me to explain me what I do have to do to get it running again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
February 8, 20215 yr Author As addition to my previous post I like to state, that I was just now alarmed by Windows Defender that the application "rxpGTN-750-XPL.exe" is containing "Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.DE!ml" which I find very worrying. Is this a false positive statement - or where it is coming from. Thanks for your kind advise.

February 9, 20215 yr I'm having the same problem -- I installed the recent Garmin trainer update and now my GTN 750 no longer works (black screen). My rxpGtnSim.dll.log reports: 21/02/09 00:15:06.754 00416 ERROR] trainer not found or not supported Edited February 9, 20215 yr by Otto Pylott Clarification

Problem solved; thanks for your rapid response. I'll know better next time to defer the Garmin update until the installer gets updated (though probably not because I will likely forget by then!!!)

Thank you very much! Can you please confirm the following facts for my understanding: 1. The root cause for the blackout screen in X-Plane has been the false positive warning and could been addressed by asking Windows Defender to skip the Folder "c:\Program Files(x86)\Reality XP\" - Correct? 2. A re-installation would not have been necessary! - Correct? 3. The re-installation problem was fixed by the new download links you put into the installer "rxpGTN-750-XPL.exe" which you updated on the Reality XP Website last night (for me). Therefore my installation was now successfully. 4. I did understood now, that the Garmin trainer application has not to run in parallel, as it is just used to provide the databases for the x-plane integration. Correct? Thanks for letting me know and ramp up my understanding of Reality XP Plugin. Best Regards, Markus.
