FIX! Deactivating Icing Effects

Featured Replies

For who did not know, but I think it is great! For the first time now flying in the Carenado Mooney without the annoying icing effects!

You can assign a hotkey to TOGGLE WINDSHIELD ICE and then the icing effects will disappear also on any other aircraft like Carenado Mooney or 172.

If you also change the icing effects to Visual only under assistance options you will have a FAKE ANTI ICE SYSTEM 😉

You get rid of the ice from the windshield with that trick, but the ice on the aircraft and wings will still make the plane much heavier and cause you to lose power and speed, "Visual only" does not seem to work as it should.

Yep.  I assign it to the 'i' key as that doesn't seem to be taken by anything else. I love watching it melt!
