February 13, 20215 yr Founded in 1958 as OLT Ostfriesische Lufttaxi Dekker & Janssen OHG, an air-taxi company for the east-frisean islands, the company successfully expanded over the years and in 1974 changed its name to DLT Deutsche Luftverkehrsgesellschaft mbH. DLT operated a european network out of Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Nuremberg and Köln/Bonn in cooperation with German flag carrier Lufthansa, who finally took over a majority of shares and changed the company´s name to Lufthansa City Line. Here we see D-AHSB, one out of eight DLT´s Hawker Siddeley HS 748s deboarding its passengers in Köln/Bonn. February 14, 20215 yr Good to know about this airline....know Lufthansa City Line well...(that livery always looked nice on those thin CRJ types....)... Never knew about DLT...! Looks great on the HS 748...! (Now, my exercise, for today, is to learn to say (correctly) "Deutsche Luftverkehrsgesellschaft"...so it will sound acceptable to a native...🙂...the 2nd word will not be easy, I can tell).......
