December 13, 200619 yr Today, after installing TrackIR4 I decided to make a test hopfrom Geneva to Zurich to check it out.Turns out that the landing at LSZH was my 100th. I passed the100 Multi-Engine Hours some time ago :)Anyhow, on landing I was directed to ramp parking and was"greeted" by 3 of my FS9 vintage AI aircraft that I have importedinto FSX. As one of my favorite "rides" in FS9 and FSX is theL-049A Connie, I was pleased to see that two of the AI on theramp were Connies ( see screen shot ).So, if you have favorite FS9 AI, just move them on over to FSX along with their traffic BGL's and enjoy! December 13, 200619 yr How are you liking the tracker ir4? I can never sim again without mine!http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpg Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!
December 13, 200619 yr I don't want to jack this thread too bad, but the only drawback I see with TrackIR is that, well, what do you do, if you want to turn to look at your paper shredder, for example? Can it be turned off quickly?regarding the thread topic: Wow, GREAT AI Gypsy Baron. I don't have 100 landings yet. I am spending too much time fiddling with scenery design in FSX. I have 50 landings though...somewwhere between 50 and 100 I suppose...RhettAMD 3700+ (@2530 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2 GB Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8, WD 250 gig 7200 rpm SATA2, CoolerMaster Praetorian Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB

December 13, 200619 yr Author >If you want to look at the shredder-F9 key...>http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpgYup...the first thing I changed was re-programming twobuttons on my Saitek X45 to "Pause" TrackIR and to"re-center" TrackIR. That way I don't even have to look down to the keyboard :)I use the "pause" anytime I'm going to "look away" or, mostoften when I need to click on a control in the VC. I justget the control in view, click my pause button, make myadjustments without any "head wobble" intoduced, thenclickthe "pause" button again to resume. On my system I re-mapped the TrackIR defaults from F12 and F9to CTL-F5 and CTL-F7. So far I'm lovin' it! I also fly Aces High, the WWII onlinecombat sim, and TrackIR is just going to be great there.I just did a bit of gunnery practice offline and found it wasalot easier to manuever and track my target with natural, intuitive head movements coupled with stick control. In FS9 & FSX, it makes looking around the sky and sceneryreal easy and those turns onto final a breeze. Not to mentionthe ease of taxiing. Paul
