That looks superb. Does it have a working VC in MSFS?

If I may ask, how did you get that shine, most of my converted fighter jets look very dull. Even if I use MCX, I fail to achieve those sparkling results.

Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds

So, this is a an FS9 era model that I got permission from the original authors of to update and share with the community (if I get the flight model and VC to a point where I think others would enjoy it...still under heavy revision).  When the sim SDK properly supports supersonic flight, then its younger and much more famous sibling will get a similar treatment. 😉 I'd like to give the community a couple of 'free, fast, and fun' jet fighter options.

Since VCs weren't a huge thing in FS9, the VC is very basic.  Here is what it currently looks like:

I'm looking into how to toss a touchscreen G3X on the panel just to give me something to flight test to.  Then I have to decide on a more permanent solution.  Also have a bunch of 60s books about the CF-100 en route for references.  I have 0 experience with Blender, so 2D HTML gauges might be the answer.

OzWookie (MSFS Goose mod developer) graciously assisted with getting the model into Blender, since I am primarily focused on learning about the MSFS flight model right now.  I'm not a Blender expert, but in the tradition of 'pay it forward' - here is the PBR rendering 'block' that does the magic on the exterior surfaces.  The 'Metallic' effect is what is making this model look really great for what it is.  'Clear Coat' also looks pretty good, but the original livery is white, this would be better with a black livery (which I have seen in reference photos of the CF-100).  The PBR options are amazingly powerful for taking a low poly model from 2004 and making it look good from '20 feet away'!

Wow, that’s a rare one to see in a flightsim, looking great!
