I was just about to start my own thread on this problem when I read your post. Whenever I go into VR mode, and then exit again, the Render Scaling on my 2D monitor is always reset to 100 from 60 (where I like it). This happens very consistently. Like you, it's not a big deal to switch the scaling back down to 60 from 100, but this is obviously a bug that needs to be corrected.
